PORTCULLIS silver and enamel chain cufflinks. Octagons of vitreous enamel separated from lozenges of enamel by solid silver. Under each octagon is a sunburst design hand etched onto the silver beneath it. Only vitreous enamel gives the translucence required to see the intricacies of the design. Hand made in the jewellery quarter of Birmingham, England using only vitreous enamel and solid silver for which this area is justifiably famous, these cufflinks will become an heirloom.
